Since 2001 we have been fishing the waters here in the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. With countless days and thousands of hours behind us you learn a thing or two. Like how to turn a good day into a great day … and it usually comes down to the details. Skynet represents what a good boat should be capable of when fishing or cruising and we are proud to offer this experience to our many repeat customers and look forward to meeting new ones.
The Captain
Captain Javier Bertin. Born and raised in Cabo San Lucas, Javier has been a certified boat captain for over 30 years. Plus if you add in the time he has spent fishing these waters with his father and brother – both are also boat captains – and it’s a lifetime of experience and knowledge. You are in good hands with Captain Javier – whether it’s going out for the day or chartering for one of the many world class gamefish tournaments – his experience, expertise and know-how will keep you in the action and safe & comfortable – all key ingredients for a great day on the water.
The Vessel
Skynet is a CABO 35’ Flybridge – a legendary & proven blue-water performer. Fully equipped with the latest in electronics, this 35’ provides a superior sea ride while at the same time being remarkably stable – the result of its 13’ beam. When it comes to interior appointments and craftsmanship, SKYNET goes head to head with the finest yachts. Often overlooked but always appreciated – this 35 has a spacious head with separate shower stall that adjoins the forward stateroom. With one of the largest cockpits offered in any sport-fisherman under 40 feet, a cabin that is great for entertaining and a full complement of rods, reels & lures, Skynet is ready for you.
